Russia’s ALROSA, min sign invest deal for Verkhne-Munskoye field
RUSSKY ISLAND, Vladivostok, Sep 2 (PRIME) -- Russian diamond mining giant ALROSA signed an investment agreement with the Far East Development Ministry, envisaging state spending on the Verkhne-Munskoye deposit amounting to 8.5 billion rubles, on Friday.
Total investments are planned at 62.98 billion rubles.
The capacity of the field is planned at more than 1.7 million carats of diamonds a year. The launch is planned for 2018 and the target capacity of 3 million tonnes a year will be reached in 2019.
